CPD Training Program
Civil celebrant training is of paramount importance as it equips individuals with the necessary skills, knowledge, and ethical understanding to effectively fulfil the role of a celebrant.
Through Hazel’s comprehensive training program and continued mentoring, she facilitates aspiring celebrants in their learning of ceremony design, legal requirements, cultural sensitivities, and interpersonal communication.

Through the CPD Level 3 Diploma you will learn about becoming a celebrant and how to effectively carry out this role with confidence in your creativity and delivery.
Hazel will teach, train, equip and encourage you to build your own celebrancy business as she provides you with the space to be creative and inspired to make your own dreams a reality.
By the end of your initial 5 day residential training you will have a solid and confident foundation with the skills and knowledge to create and deliver beautiful ceremonies and continue to grow your own celebrant business.
You will also have begun work towards your accreditation qualification and will go away from the week with new relationships formed as you start to build your own network and feel supported within your training.
You will gain a better understanding of your industries and how to effectively offer a service that stands out from the rest and feel confident to deliver a service as you begin your business and embark on the second part of your training with the 12 month online programme.
The CPD Level 3 Diploma in Civil Celebrancy is accredited by the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Certification Service; the world's leading and largest independent CPD accreditation institution.
It is important to note that you will be required to give a live eulogy during your training week, on which you will receive feedback. There will also be a professional discussion with you and Hazel once you have completed the modules of work from your online training which will be mostly written assignments.
You will be pleased to know that you are completely able to begin working as a celebrant BEFORE completing your CPD Certificate coursework. Most of our trainees return home and start promoting themselves immediately after their 5 day training whilst doing their 12 month online coursework.

What Help Will I Receive during my Online Training Programme?
Hazel will take you through monthly group zoom sessions with your cohort and you will receive study notes to assist you through the eight modules.
Hazel will be at hand to guide you and give you feedback as you work through each module.
How do I start my CPD Level 3 Diploma in Civil Celebrants?
Once you decide that you would like to undertake your CPD Diploma all you need to do is send an email to admin@ameliacelebrants.co.uk and click to send.
Once we have received this you will be sent a welcome email from Hazel and your application form to apply for the training programme.
At the click of a button your dreams can become that little bit closer to your reality.
Is the CPD Qualification Necessary to Work as a Celebrant?
The Certificate is not compulsory and many celebrants work successfully without an official qualification. However, it may become advantageous in the future, especially if you are considering working as a wedding celebrant. You have one year to complete the qualification and this starts from the last day of your 5 day training.
Will I Have a Course Workbook?
You will be given a course workbook for your training week which will become a valuable resource, both for factual information that you will need to answer some of the assessment criteria, and also to make notes about your own learning. This can also be used to help you answer some of the questions posed in the modules within the online training programme.
How Difficult is the Course?
The Level 3 certificate is equivalent to an ‘A ’Level and should be treated with an academic approach. There will be essay style questions. You will be expected to read around the subject with some autonomy. However, learning materials are given to you to use and Hazel will help and guide you to achieve the required standard.
