A timeless reminder of the enduring power of love and the strength found in unity.
A handfasting is a beautiful and ancient ritual that symbolises the binding together of two individuals in love and commitment.
Originating from Celtic traditions, handfasting involves the joining of the couple’s hands with cords or ribbons, creating a visual representation of their union.
As the cords are tied, the couple make promises to each other, pledging their devotion, trust, and support. Each cord represents different facets of their relationship, such as love, unity, friendship, even children or family members.
A joyful and symbolic tradition that represents sweeping away the past and leaping into your new life together. This vibrant ritual can add a touch of fun and meaning to your ceremony, whether you want to honour its history or simply include a playful heartfelt gesture, it’s a perfect way to mark your commitment with energy and excitement!
A beautiful and meaningful symbolic ritual that represents the blending of two lives into one.
Each person has their own container of sand, often in a colour that holds personal meaning to them. These individual sands symbolise your separate journeys, experiences and indentities.
During the ceremony, you pour your sands together into a shared vessel, creating a stunning, one-of-a kind pattern. This represents the unity of your lives together while still honouring the uniqueness of each person.
Sand Ceremonies are especially popular with couples who love the beach or who want a timeless visual symbol of their bond.
This ritual can also include children or family members, with each adding thier own sand to represent the joining of families.
The finished piece becomes a treasured keepsake - a lasting reminder of your love and the life you have built together.
